HSU announces virtual commencement

ARCATA, Ca (KIEM) – Humboldt State announced to 2020 graduates, they are in the midst of organizing a virtual ceremony for Saturday, May 16.

The virtual ceremony will include a video for each college with messages from President Tom Jackson and other administrators.

Every graduate has been asked to submit a photo and a ten second video with at least their name and a brief message. Even if a video is not received, all names of graduating students will be listed in the virtual ceremony.

HSU is still hoping to celebrate the class of 2020 with a potential in-person ceremony next spring.
