New Covid-19 testing site set to open in Willow Creek

WILLOW CREEK, Calif. (KIEM) — California is expanding Covid-19 testing across the state and Humboldt County is unveiling a new testing site this week.

The county is partnering with Trinity County to increase access to Covid-19 testing for Eastern Humboldt residents.

Through this collaboration, a drive through testing site will be available in willow creek starting Thursday. It will be at the big rock day use area.

A new community testing site is also up and running in Del Norte County.

For those looking to get tested, the new Willow Creek site will be open the next 3 Thursdays, June 11^th, 18^th, and 25th from 10 am to 3 pm. Dates beyond that have yet to be announced.
