Local grocery store team member tests positive for COVID-19

ARCATA, Calif. (KIEM) – A local grocery store is alerting community members after a team member has tested positive for COVID-19.

Wildberries Marketplace in Arcata posted a message to its Facebook page on Monday stating, in part…

“We were immediately in contact with the Humboldt County Department of Health and are following all recommended guidelines from the CDC.”

The message continued with…

“The team member has had minimal, if no contact, with customers, and is recovering at home on paid leave until the appropriate amount of time has lapsed per Humboldt County Department of Health Guidelines.

All staff working in proximity are undergoing interviews from county health contact tracing.”
