Public health officials concerned about local bars reopening

Humboldt County, Calif. (KIEM) – Public Health Officer Dr. Teresa Frankovich expresses the rising concern of local bars being able to reopen after submitting their reopening plans.

As of today, Governor Gavin Newsom implemented an immediate order across 19 counties.

Restaurants, wineries, movie theaters, zoos, museums and cardrooms must close indoor operations and bars must close all operations.

Dr. Frankovich says that despite any particular social setting, it is important that everyone adheres to guidelines and follows the plan that specific sites put in place.
