3 new Covid-19 cases, 8 more recoveries reported Thursday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Public Health Department reports 3 new cases of Covid-19 Thursday bringing Humboldt County’s total case count to 302.

The county’s overall threat level remains at level 3. Eight more recoveries were reported as well on Thursday bringing that number to 241. Right now, health officials are monitoring 57 active cases.

Of the total cases, 169 had contact to a known case, 70 were travel related, and 43 were a result of community transmission. Currently, there are 20 cases still under investigation.
