Public Health issues blanket isolation, quarantine orders for Covid-19 cases

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — Public Health’s communicable disease team issues blanket isolation and quarantine orders to help the county be better prepared for an increase in new Covid-19 cases.

These orders apply to all residents who have contracted Covid-19 or were exposed to the virus and may be contagious. Both require a person to stay at home or another residence until the contagious period has passed.

Previously, individual orders were issued to people who tested positive and other people who may have been exposed as part of the contact tracing process.
