$300 Additional Unemployment Benefit

SACRAMENTO, Ca. (KIEM) – California residents who are unemployed due to Covid-19 will now be eligible for an additional $300 dollars on top of their regular unemployment benefits.

President trump made up to $44 billion dollars available from F.E.M.A’s Disaster Relief Fund available to be used for unemployment benefits.

F.E.M.A. approved California for a grant under the lost wages assistance program and will work with Governor Newsom on a plan to distribute the funding.
