8 new Covid-19 cases, 4 more recoveries reported Thursday

HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Public Health Department reports 8 new cases of Covid-19 Thursday bringing Humboldt County’s total case count to 442.

Four more recoveries were reported as well bringing that number to 377. Health officials are currently monitoring 61 active cases.

Of the total cases, 267 had contact to a known case, 92 are travel related, and 54 are a result of community transmission. Right now, there are 29 cases under investigation.

The county’s overall alert level remains at level 2, or level yellow.
