(KIEM)

DEL NORTE COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM)-The Yurok Office of Emergency Services confirms a third COVID-19 case on the Yurok Reservation – prompting Yurok OES and Del Norte County Public Health to conduct a thorough contact tracing investigation.

The case reported yesterday involved a resident who lives on the Klamath side of the reservation.

That person experienced mild symptoms and is now in quarantine at home for 14 days.

Resources are available to those required to isolate.

The Yurok Tribe decided not to disclose further details about the case to keep personal health records private.

Testing information for Yurok residents can be found on their Facebook page and at Humboldtgov.org.
