HUMBOLDT COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) – Two former Humboldt State University Lumberjacks met on the gridiron for some Saturday NFL action.

Alex Cappa is an offensive lineman on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He has been with the team since he was drafted in 2018. Cappa was selected in the third round with the 94th pick.

Robert Prince is the interim head coach of the Detroit Lions. He has been a member of the Lions organization since 2014. Prince made multiple stops at the collegiate level, including Boise State, after his time as a graduate assistant at Humboldt State. In the NFL, he held assistant positions with the Seattle Seahawks, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Atlanta Falcons.
