ARCATA, Calif. (KIEM)- Wildberries Marketplace in Arcata joins the fight to help end hunger by donating 850 boxes of Annie’s mac and cheese to Food for People.

When wild berries was putting in the order for the mac and cheese, they decided to make a special order for the food bank to help those in need.

The general manager of Wildberries, Aaron Gottschalk, said that as a local business that was able to stay open during the pandemic, they wanted to support and give thanks to the community that has supported them.

“We thought that mac and cheese might be a worthwhile product for them because it’s a non-perishable item,” said Gottschalk.  “We felt that would be something that they could use to distribute.”

Wildberries plans to continue to donate to Food for People as a way to further serve the community during these challenging times.
