Del Norte County Public Health Department reports 6 new Covid-19 cases, 3 more recoveries since Saturday

DEL NORTE COUNTY, Calif. (KIEM) — The Del Norte County Public Health Department confirms 6 new cases of Covid-19 since Saturday, and 3 of those cases are among incarcerated people. The total case count is now 904 with health officials monitoring 39 active cases.

One person is currently hospitalized with covid-19. The majority of cases are among people 18 to 49 years old, that’s 56% of cases. The mean age is 40. As far as the gender breakdown of cases, 60% are among men and 40% are among women.

There were 3 more recoveries also reported bringing that number to 865.
