Hit and run investigation

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – Police in Eureka are looking for a suspect in connection with a hit and run case involving a pedestrian.

Police would like to talk to the driver of the white sedan that was seen at the time of the incident.

On Sunday night, just before 11 o’clock, officers responded to the intersection of Wabash Avenue and A Street.

That’s where they found a 64-year-old female lying in the road.

She had injuries to her face and head, and was taken to the hospital in stable condition.  The driver of the car left the scene without stopping to help or notifying police.
