Humboldt State University is moving in the direction of becoming a polytechnic university.

With the university receiving an investment of 458 million dollars. It will soon become one of three polytechnic universities in California. 

A polytechnic university brings more opportunities for students and faculty in S.T.E.M. and renewable energy research programs. It will also provide students with more resources on campus.
