EUREKA, Calif. (KIEM) It is becoming easier and cheaper for people to make guns at home using 3-D printing technology. There are now new calls tonight for a federal crackdown on those so-called ‘ghost guns.’ It comes in the wake of a Eureka man recently caught manufacturing ‘ghost guns’ at an Airbnb he rented in New York City. As we previously reported, 40-year-old Kurt Therk-Kelsen pleaded guilty in December to illegal weapons possession and is currently serving four years in prison.
