North Coast Weather Forecast: Wednesday, August 2nd

For the rest of our evening hours, we are looking to have another increase in clouds for the coastal areas, mostly in the lower elevations. Temperatures around the region are expected to be dropping to the 40s and 50s and winds will be on the calm side. Some areas can expect patchy fog as well. To start off our Thursday morning, we will have mostly cloudy conditions for much of the coastline. A little more sunshine will peek out through the clouds in the afternoon hours. Hazy conditions can be expected further inland. Temperatures will be in low 60s to low 90s for highs and winds will be coming from the north and northwest around five to ten miles per hour. More clouds can be expected for the coastal areas the next couple of days as we head into our weekend. Temperatures will be in the 60s through 90s. By Sunday, a bit of a heat wave will come into parts of our inland cities, reaching the 100s for those on the furthest eastern parts of our viewing area. Highs for Sunday and Monday of next week will be in the mid 60s to low 100s. Plenty of sunshine can be expected all around. As we get to the middle of next week though, we will drop back to the low 60s to low 90s for highs with more clouds by the coast and more sun further inland.
