First day of the Humboldt County Fair public reactions

It’s official! The Humboldt County Fair is now open to the public.

Redwood News reporter was on the scene when the gates opened and caught the reactions of families, friends and groups who were there for the grand opening day. 

“I was born and raised here, my parents– our parents have been bringing us here all the time,” said Cheryl Seidner a local community member. “I come just for nostalgia and remember the good times I had with my parents and my siblings.”

The fair opens the next week at noon until August 27.
