To finish out our Monday, we are looking to have mostly cloudy conditions for the coastal areas, and plenty of clear skies further inland. Smoke and haze will continue to be a big contribution to the air quality around the region, especially inland. Temperatures will drop to the 50s for overnight lows and winds will be on the calm side. Foggy and misty conditions can be expected for the lower elevations and along the coastal areas. For our Tuesday, we are looking to have lingering fog and low level clouds for the coastal areas. Some afternoon sun is expected (to be actually seen for the coastal cities). Temperatures will be in the low 60s to upper 80s across the North Coast. Winds will be coming from the northwest around five to ten miles per hour. For the rest of week, we are looking to have a mixture of sun and clouds for the coast and plenty of sunshine inland. Hazy and smoky conditions will continue to stick around, keeping the air quality less than perfect. For this upcoming weekend, we are looking at the opportunity for rain showers to move into the inland areas of our viewing area. Scattered showers look to be more prominent as we head into next week Monday.
