Local Cannabis Company Holds Neighborhood Mixer

Eureka, Ca. (KIEM) – A local cannabis company opens its doors in the former k-mart building right off of Broadway and they held a neighborhood block party.

Today’s mixer was all about bringing the local community together, showing what they do, and answering any questions people may have.

The old k-mart building on Broadway may look empty, but now it is the new home to a local cannabis business, Papa and Barkley.

The company was started and is run here in Eureka. Their main goal is to bring relief to a variety of medical conditions through the use of cannabis infused products.

In addition to providing these products, they are also proud of the jobs and opportunities they bring to the community. They have nearly 70 employees in eureka alone.

Today’s mixer had food, drinks, and music. They hoped that the event would be a chance to shed some light on what they do and let people around them know that they are now a part of the local community.

Papa and Barkley has four other locations across eureka. In the future, they hope to expand their business even more and their new location will definitely help with that.
