Scotia man arrested after chase with law enforcement

BLUE LAKE- A man wanted on felony warrants leads authorities on a chase, but winds up behind bars.

On Saturday night around 11, a Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputy spotted a yellow truck speeding on Hatchery Road in Blue Lake. He tried to stop the truck but the driver, 33-year old Kenneth Pullen kept going.

The Scotia man then led deputies on a pursuit through Blue Lake and onto highway 299. Pullen eventually stopped on Maple Creek Road and ran into the woods nearby where he was caught.

Deputies discovered Pullen has two felony warrants including possession of a controlled substance while possessing a loaded firearm, reckless driving and a misdemeanor warrant for possession of a firearm within ten years of conviction. In addition, he faces new charges of evading police and violation of probation.
