Humboldt County Fair reaches record breaking numbers

The Humboldt County Fair had record breaking numbers this year. Attendance is up 11% over the past four years. Bringing in nearly $267,000 in admissions alone.

Each year staff with the fair always try to keep things new and exciting, and this year they prevailed. The most popular events being Gladius the Show, the horse races, and livestock barns. This year the fair brought in $700,000 dollars more than last year.

We spoke to an emotional Fair Manager, Richard Conway, who tells us he owes it all to the community. Conway says the crew is already getting started on preparations for next year’s fair.
