MCKINLEYVILLE- Keoki Burbank returns for his second season at McKinleyville.

This could be a rebuilding year for the Panther who lost many starters to graduation. They will also be without quarterback Mason Sand who will miss his senior season with a knee injury. There is a two-way battle for his replacement between Rylin Grow and Russell Dees.

Mack will look for solid play from its middle upfront on defense. The “D’ needs to improve after allowing 38 points a game last season.

Their focus is on week. The Panthers open the season at home facing Ferndale.
