CRESCENT CITY- There was an officer involved shooting just before 5 Wednesday evening in Crescent City.
The Del Norte County Sheriff’s office was investigating an attempted homicide at a residence in the Shelter Island Trailer Park.
Deputies and CHP officers went to talk with a female suspect when she started shooting. Law enforcement then returned fire.
No officers were injured.
The suspect was taken to Sutter Coast Hospital for treatment.
