McKinleyville’s Smith signs with Carleton College

MCKINLEYVILLE- Another high school athlete has decided on where he’ll attend college. On Friday night, Jacob Smith signed his letter of intent with Carleton College in Minnesota.

Last season, Smith batted .423 with 3 doubles and 11 RBI. He’s also played soccer and basketball for the panthers.

While Smith’s varsity baseball season awaits, he’s excited for his next chapter.
