Lively sentencing delayed

EUREKA- A judge has delayed sentencing of a Shelter Cove man convicted of striking a neighbor with his pick-up truck.

Eric Lively was convicted of striking a neighbor, Jesse Simpson, with his truck. Judge Christopher Wilson delayed sentencing for the second degree homicide case because he needed more information.

Meanwhile, attorney Russ Clanton said he would be filing a motion for a new trial for Lively. He could be sentenced fifteen years to life in prison for the death of Simpson in May of 2017.
