Homicide suspect, two others arrested following Southern Humboldt high-speed pursuit

HONEYDEW, CA. – Three are detained, including a wanted murder suspect, following a high speed pursuit in southern Humboldt.

Fortuna police and Humboldt deputies were involved in the chase, reaching speeds over 100-miles-per-hour, beginning around 4PM today near the Bear River Casino.

California Highway Patrol then took over, and conducted a felony stop just before 5PM in Honeydew, just east of Wilder Ridge Road.

They held the out-of-area homicide suspect, and two other vehicle occupants at gunpoint.

All three were taken into custody.
