Today, College of the Redwood’s students opened up their doors to the community for their 28th annual plant sale to raise funds for their agriculture program.
Students of CR’s agriculture program are raising funds to support their greenhouse, soil needs, and any equipment needed. Every year they have broken record sales. Last year’s funds were used to purchase a soil pasteurization unit. This year they hope to buy a soil auger, which will allow them to mix soil mechanically, rather than by hand.
All plants have been propagated and grown by students. The plant sale will go run through the weekend at the CR greenhouse until 5:30 p.m.
