Humboldt Bay Fire appoints new chief

Sean Robertson has been officially appointed to take the helm, effective August 1st. Robertson began his career with the Eureka Fire Department and has been moving up the ladder ever since. He’s done a stint as the head of training and is a certified California State Chief Officer. He’s also pursuing his executive fire officer certification through the National Fire Academy. A promotional ceremony will be held for him in the fall.
