Burglar smashes window, steals cigarettes

Eureka, Ca., (KIEM) A burgulary took place at the Patriot gas station on four-thousand block of Broadway Street, a little after 5am Saturday morning.

Cashier at the Patriot, Josh Gomez, said when he arrived at work he noticed the gas station’s window smashed out and a few items missing.

”Basically just a bunch of cigarettes and lottery tickets…unfortunately they were covered from head to toe with gloves and a hoodie so we could’t get much,” said Gomez.

The police arrived shortly after they were called. A police report was filed and video surveillance is being investigated. No one was arrested or injured the time of the incident.
