Crescent City volunteers ‘Take a Bite Out of Blight’, remove nearly two tons of trash

CRESCENT CITY, Calif. (KIEM) – 32 volunteers rallied together to take a “bite out of blight” in Crescent City this weekend.

These images comes to us from Del Norte Supervisor Rodger Gitlin, of what was the 38th community cleanup led by the ‘Take a Bite out of Blight’ team.

Dozens of volunteers spent their Saturday morning at the cleanup along Highway 101 in Crescent City, just south of Anchor Way, and removed nearly two tons of trash near the coastline.
