Fortuna Police searching for speeding motorcyclist

FORTUNA – Fortuna Police are searching for a speeding motorcyclist, that was last seen southbound on Highway 101 off of Kenmar Road.

On Monday night, a Fortuna police officer attempted to stop a 2004 Yahmaha motorcycle that was speeding south on Fortuna Boulevard. Officers discontinued the pursuit for safety, near the intersection of highway 101 and 36.

Upon additional investigation, the driver of the motorcycle was identified as 31-year-old Thomas Ashton Hodgin of Alton.

Fortuna police searched for Hodgin at his residence, but didn’t find him. If you have information on Hodgin’s whereabouts, you’re asked to contact the Fortuna Police Department.
