Measure Z Advisory Committee reviews upcoming fiscal year

EUREKA – The Measure Z Advisory Committee meets to review applications for the upcoming fiscal year.

The Humboldt County half-cent sales tax will go towards Law Enforcement, Firefighters, and other Public Safety services.

Humboldt residents came out to today’s meeting to learn more about how their tax dollars are being spent.

The committee reviewed how spending was used last year, and considered how much money will be available moving forward.
