Eureka, Ca., (KIEM) The Positive Coaching Alliance put on a conference for all youth sports coaches and parents in partnership with Humboldt Youth Soccer League and Eureka High School.
The goal of PCA is to teach coaches and guardians how to be a more positive coach and help their children get the most out of their youth sports experience.
“We continue to evolve. Providing new tools, new resources, and new ways to communicate,” shared Tony Asaro, trainer with PCA. “It’s fixing broken windows and that’s what they’re trying to do here is trying to identify broken windows that are out there in youth sports and make sure that they put programs in place to fix those broken windows before they occur.”
