Rio Dell City Hall recycles electronic items at no charge

Rio Dell, Ca., (KIEM) The City of Rio Dell and Humboldt Waste Management Authority held a free collection event for electronic waste at Rio Dell City Hall.

This was the opportunity to recycle items like TV’s, monitors, stereos, computers, cell phones, or any item that have circuit boards in them, at no charge.

The event was free for everyone, including businesses, schools and non-profits. Hazardous waste besides auto batteries was not accepted.

Humboldt Waste Management Authority is committed to waste reduction and materials diversion activities, expanding over the years to include recycling and household hazardous wastes.
