Tyla Turner dismissed from HSU women’s basketball team

ARCATA, CA- As Humboldt State women’s basketball continues to prepare for the upcoming season, one key member from last year’s squad is no longer on the team.

Head coach Michelle Bento-Jackson confirmed to Redwood News on Tuesday that Tyla Turner was dismissed from the program. No reason was given for the decision by the coach. Tyla’s sister Tyra will remain on the team.

HSU has a home exhibition game next Monday at Lumberjack Arena.
