EUREKA, Ca.  (KIEM) – Black Friday shopping sprees are starting earlier than ever this year, with some shoppers skipping Thanksgiving plates, for a chance at low prices.

Eureka’s line at Target was already winding by about 4:30PM on Thanksgiving. Some shoppers brought lawn chairs along, to wait comfortably before doors opened at 5:00PM.

Some shoppers say with prices slashed in half, it’s worth slashing their Thanksgiving plans in half, too.

Target in Eureka stayed open until 1:00AM, then reopened at 7:00AM for the shopping holiday.
