CSU extends fall 2019 application deadline to December 15, in response to wildfires

Northern California (KIEM) California State University is trying to help families impacted by the recent wildfires.

The university system is giving all prospective students until December 15th to apply for fall 2019 admission.

“With many prospective students, their families and communities facing hardship due to wildfires affecting the entire state, the CSU is extending the priority application deadline for fall 2019 admission to Dec. 15 for all applicants,” said CSU in a statement to Redwood News.

School officials said it’s to ensure students have the chance to apply to any of the 23 campuses at Cal State in wake of the wildfires. Learn more, here.

The campuses started accepting applications October 1st.
