Two armed robbery suspects on the run after stealing victim’s wallet

MCKINLEYVILLE – Two armed robbery suspects are on the run after they stole a victim’s wallet in the parking lot at Azalea Park.

The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office said at around 6:30 Wednesday night, the victim and a male passenger were in a vehicle when they were approached by another man asking for a cigarette.

He left but later returned in a white Chevy Blazer striking the vehicle. He got out of the SUV along with another man with firearms and demanded the victim’s wallet.

The suspects were last seen on Azalea Avenue going towards McKinleyville. The white Chevy Blazer is a 1994 to 2000 model possibly spray painted black.
