Two North Coast wardens save a bald eagle

YUROK TRIBE – A Yurok Tribe Game Warden, along with a State and a Fish and Wildlife Warden, together saved an injured bald eagle.

The eagle was spotted near where Panther Creek enters the Klamath River.

A tribal citizen reported the hurt bird to the Fish and Wildlife Office. Both wardens responded, using a blanket to capture the bird.

He was then transported to a veterinarian in Crescent City, where he was treated for minor injury, then moved to a rescue facility.
