Fatal accident closes off hwy 101 south of Crescent City

A fatal accident closes off Hwy 101 this afternoon, south of Crescent City.

A vehicle and a motorhome collided around 2:30. Ambulance responded to the scene near Del Norte Coastal Redwoods State Park on Hwy 101. Both northbound and southbound traffic was completely blocked. The highway is now open as of 6 p.m.
