Volunteers remove four tons of trash in Crescent City

Volunteers work to make Crescent City a cleaner place, Saturday morning. 19 volunteers from “Take a Bite out of Blight” removed just over four tons of accumulated trash as the result of an electrical fire on Cummins road years ago.

“Take a Bite out of Blight” was founded in 2013 by Del Norte County Supervisor, Roger Gitlen. This private entity provides community volunteers to abate blight on both private and public property in Del Norte County.
