Humboldt Bay Fire responds to mattress fire

SPRUCE POINT(KIEM)- Humboldt Bay crews responded to a structure fire Thursday night in Spruce Point.

At around 7:30, they were called to a mobile home park on the 5700 block of Humboldt Hill Road.

Fire fighters located a mattress on fire inside the structure. They quickly put the fire out and removed the mattress. There were two people inside the home when the fire started.

The cause is under investigation.
