US bank awards the Humboldt County Office of Education a $10,000 grant to support entrepreneurial programs

A decade of difference! On Friday US Bank awarded the Humboldt County Office of Education with a $10,000 dollar grant to support entrepreneurial programs. The focus of the funding will support enhancement for both, “Crafting up Business,” and “Innovate Business Challenge.”

“Crafting up Business,” is aimed to help fifth to eight grade students learn about the process of identifying and creating a product to sell profitably.

While, “Innovate Business,” is a challenge where students from across the county submit a business start-up idea as a 60-90 second video-based pitch. And the top five finalists are evaluated by a panel of judges representing successful local businesses.
