Two men arrested for McKinleyville gas station robbery

EUREKA (KIEM)- Two men suspected of robbing a McKinleyville gas station back in November are behind bars.

With the assistance of Arcata police, 27 year-old John Davis was arrested Tuesday on the 4600 block of Valley West Boulevard. Davis was charged with robbery, conspiracy to commit a crime, resisting and petty theft…

Then Thursday, a Humboldt County Sheriff’s deputy spotted 19 year-old Joseph Lenhart walking on the 1100 block of east Bates Road in McKinleyville. He was taken into custody without incident and charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit a crime.

The sheriff’s office wants to thank the community who helped identify the suspects and Arcata police for their assistance.
