Woman stabbed, suspect on the loose

SPRUCE POINT (KIEM)- The Humboldt County Sheriff’s office is searching for a woman who stabbed another woman  at the Humboldt Bay Mobile Estates in Spruce Point.

It happened at around 9:30 Thursday night at a residence on the 5600 block of Meadowbrook Drive. The 48 year-old victim sustained non-life threatening injuries to her wrist and shoulder.

The victim told deputies she had been house sitting for a friend when an acquaintance, identified as 34 year-old Teresa Olan got into an altercation with the victim.

Olan was last seen wearing  a dark colored hoodie or coat with dark pants and brown boots. Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s office.
