EUREKA, CA. (KIEM) – Humboldt’s food banks. Food For People finished their most recent food drive and the results are in.

The Holiday Spirit Food and Fund Drive brought in roughly 127,000 pounds of food. With a value of $1.70 per pound. That’s according to the Arlington Food Assistance Center, but officials with the food bank say it’s only about 30% of what they need for the entire year.
