Hoopa man to stand trial for murder of his sister

EUREKA (KIEM)- A Hoopa man will stand trial for the murder of his sister. Angel Aubrey was shot in the head during an argument behind the Hoopa Mini-Mart in February of 2018.

Judge Christopher Wilson ruled there was enough evidence to hold 31-year-old Antone Aubrey on charges of murder, a felon in possession of a firearm and the use of a firearm causing death.

If convicted, Aubrey could face life in prison.

He’s scheduled to be back in court for his arraignment on March 20.
