Local Church Celebrates Apollo 11’s 50th Anniversary

EUREKA, Ca. (KIEM) – It was one small step for man! This year marks the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11!

This historic moment is being celebrated all over the United States.

Here in Eureka, John Wolfram will be speaking at Eureka The Pentecostal Church.

Wolfram is a retired NAVY Seal Frogman. He was one of the first people on the scene when the space capsule landed in the ocean! If you don’t remember, Apollo 11 carried space icons like Buzz Aldrin, Neil Armstrong, and Michael Collins.

Wolfram will be speaking at church tonight 7 p.m. If you missed tonight’s event, he will also be speaking again on Sunday at 11 a.m.
