Traffic stop leads to 3 arrests, 20 ounces of heroin

FORTUNA (KIEM)- A traffic stop leads to three arrests and over a pound of heroin taken off the street. 

Last Wednesday, agents with the Humboldt County Drug task Force pulled over a vehicle on Highway 101 south of Fortuna near the Van Duzen Bridge.

According to the task force, 21 ounces of heroin was located after a search of the vehicle. 44 year-old Sara Carnemolla. 51 year-old Sulynn Johnson were arrested for the possession and transportation of controlled substances for sales.

The third suspect, 47 year-old Amy Osborne, was not jailed because of a medical condition and her charges will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s office.
