Southern Humboldt man charged with attempted murder

BENBOW (KIEM)- A Southern Humboldt man is arrested after allegedly shooting another man following an on-going civil dispute. That’s according to the Humboldt County Sheriff’s office.

Just before four Wednesday afternoon, deputies responded to 300 block of Twin Trees Road near Benbow. They located a 31 year-old man with a gunshot wound to the shoulder. He was transported to the hospital and is listed in critical condition.

The suspect, 65 year-old Thomas Neil Harris was located near-by and was arrested for attempted murder. His bail is set at $500,000.
